A warm, family atmosphere – with plenty of fun

Home Sweet Care Home understands the importance of connection, friendship, community ­­– and fun – in boosting health and happiness. We promote a family atmosphere, personal interaction and stimulating group activities.  Everyone eats together sit-down family style when our delicious home-cooked meals are served. Residents participate in puzzle-solving, Scrabble, bingo, our popular chat-time circle and outdoor exercise in the fresh air. We give holiday dinners and parties, and barbecues in our backyard during warm weather – with an open invitation to residents’ family members to join us. The home provides shuttle services for shopping and away events. And we share in our friendly neighborhood’s yearly block party.


  • Encouraging independence and inspiring individuality 

    Our staff supports the independence of each resident, helping them to express their creativity and individuality through arts and crafts projects and other activities.

  • Compassion, stability and wellbeing.

    We believe in providing as stable, calm and supportive an environment as possible to enhance the health and wellbeing of our residents. Shift changes are kept to a minimum to reduce stress and anxiety, with two live-in caregivers present 24 hours a day, five days a week. On weekends, one of the weekly caregivers stays on to work with a weekend staffer. Minimal turnover allows us to accurately manage medication, maintain rhythm and consistency in residents’ schedules, and reinforce the sense of family.

  • Individualized attention from a dedicated staff

    Transitioning a loved one – or yourself – to a residential care facility can be confusing and challenging. HOME SWEET Care Homes offers individualized attention for six residents from a staff of caring professionals. We welcome residents who need some form of assisted living as well as those experiencing mild forms of dementia and other similar ailments.
